New Court Rd

A client who knew exactly what she wanted; to turn an L shaped kitchen/diner into a square room.

A simple enough idea, except that this involved removing two external supporting walls, with no visible beams, and some interesting roof geometry. This took a relatively huge amount of careful design and coordination. A great example of the value of early planning and preparation.

The small, 6 square meter extension was far more expensive than a simple add-on, but also far more effective in creating effortlessly useful space. It demonstrates that adding space is not always the right choice, and no substitute for good planning.
